As a Verizon Trial Program participant you will have the opportunity to experience our newest products and feature before they are launched in the mass market

We expect that all of our participants understand the non disclosure section of the trial Terms of Service (every participant is required to review and accept before commencing in any trial activities). This means that each participant, by accepting the TOS and participating in the trial, agrees to not discuss any details of or information gained from the trial with any third parties, family or friends.

The primary form of communication throughout your time as a trial participant will be via email. We expect that each participant will supply an email address that is valid and checked regularly. During the trial in particular, we ask that participants try their best to check email every 24-48 hours and to reply to anything that requires a response in a timely fashion.

You will be expected to complete up to two on-line surveys and join at least 1 live conference call to discuss trial feedback. You will be notified in advance of any conference calls that you will be expected to attend. Participants will also always be given a minimum of 5 business days to complete any on-line surveys related to the trial.

In order to participate in the trials you must register on the site. Registration entails the following steps:

  1. Complete the registration form including the Terms and Conditions agreement. It is important that you supply Verizon with a valid email and phone number. Otherwise, you will not be able to participate in the trial.
  2. You will receive an email from Verizon within 5 to 7 business days which will contain a link and a Verizon generated confirmation code. Please save your code.
  3. Click on the link in the email. (Also see Note below)
  4. On the Validate Your Email Page, complete the information and click on Submit.
  5. Once your information has been validated you will use your telephone email address and telephone number to sign in.
Note

NOTE: You may choose to enter the site directly at some other time to complete the registration process. If this is the case, you will still need your validation code from your email. Click on the Validate Your Email link on the entry page.

Lost Confirmation Code
If you have misplaced the confirmation code received in your email, click on the I lost my confirmation code link. Type in your email and phone number and click Submit. You will receive email within 1 day with your confirmation code

Expired Confirmation Code
Your confirmation code is valid for 60 days. If your code has expired you will need to reregister for the site and receive a new confirmation code via email.

Starting a Trial

Once you have successfully registered on the site, you may select a trial for participation. The product trials are arranged in tabs along the top of the page. If you do not see these tabs then be sure you have signed into the site.

Each product trial requires participants to Sign Up. This process allows Verizon to confirm your eligibility for individual trials, and track information pertaining to each product.

To start a new trial, follow these steps:

  1. Click on a product tab
  2. The Sign in form will be displayed.
  3. Fill in the information on the form and click Submit.
  4. An Information Submitted page will be displayed.

Within 7 days, you will receive an email either confirming or denying your eligibility for the trial. Should you visit that tab on the website prior to receiving the email, you may encounter a page informing you that validation is pending. This means that Verizon is in the process of confirming and validating your Sign Up information.

Should there be a problem with the information submitted during Sign Up, you will be informed via email. You may then be required to resubmit Sign Up information to participate in the trial.

Trial in Progress
Once you have Signed Up and been accepted for a trial, you will receive ongoing information or general announcements on the individual product trial page. This area will also contain links to product specific FAQs and the Welcome Kit for new participants.

Also, you will now have access to the links: Submitting Feedback, Discussion Forums, FAQs, Known Issues and more. These links pertain to the product trial you are accessing.

Providing Trial Feedback and Reporting Problems
While the trial is underway, we encourage you to provide us with as much feedback as possible. To provide feedback for the specific trial with which you are involved, click on the feedback link and complete the information on the form. Click Submit when you have finished.

Providing General Feedback
If you wish to provide feedback about the site or general suggestions, we encourage you to do so using the forums. In the forums, you can join a discussion thread or create one of your own to start a topic.

FAQs

Q: Why do I have to validate my email address and phone number?
A: Verizon needs to be sure that the person entering the site is indeed the participant who registered for the trial.

Q: I lost my email with the confirmation code. How do I sign in?
A: On the entry page of the site, click on the Validate Email link. On the next page, click on I lost my confirmation code link. Enter your email and phone number and click Submit. You will receive an email with your confirmation code from Verizon.

Q: I tried to validate my email and phone number and I’m getting a message that tells me my confirmation code in invalid. What does this mean?
A: It is likely that your confirmation code has expired. Confirmation codes must be used within 8 weeks of receiving the email from Verizon. If your code has expired, click on the registration link on the entry page and complete the registration process again.

Q: After I register for the trials, how long does it take to get my confirmation code from Verizon?
A: After we receive your information, it will take approximately 7 business days for you to receive email with your confirmation code.

Q: I signed up for a product trial. When can I start the trial?
A: After submitting your information, we will verify your eligibility for the trial which will take approximately 3 to 4 days.

Q: What factors determine my eligibility for a product trial?
A: It mostly depends on the product, each product being trial will have its own specific set of technical requirements to be qualified for the participation in the trial.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of products I can trial?
A: There is no limit to the number of trials you may participate in, but we ask that you be mindful of the expectations we have for participants of each trial and how much ‘free’ time you actually have to expend upon these efforts. Estimated time and feedback requirements will be posted for each trial, and participants may be removed from any trial at any time based upon discretion.

Q: I am having problems with one of the products I am using. Who should I contact?
A: If you are logged into the site, click on the name of the product tab you are addressing. Next, click on the Submit Feedback link, complete the form and click on Submit. We should say that Verizon will contact the participant within three to 4 days but we should ask the participant to check the forums for a possible solution before using Report a problem link as some of them might have experienced a similar problem and the moderator provided an appropriate answer.

Q: I have some overall suggestions for the product trials and or your site. How should I submit these?
A: If your feedback is not specific to a particular product you are using, you can use the Contact Us link or, the forums to join or start a thread regarding your ideas.
